What is The Pampered Parent?
The Pampered Parent is a self-care subscription box and private, supportive online community for moms of children with special needs. The Pampered Parent’s overall mission is to offer support, encouragement, inspiration, and a sense of belonging to special needs moms!
The Community: Subscribers will gain access to The Pampered Parent’s private online community so they can connect with other parents of children with disabilities in a safe, welcoming space. In the community, there is daily encouragement, helpful tips and conversations, fun events, guest speakers, and more!
The Box: Each box has a different motivational theme and includes:
- One “featured item” from a company that is run by and/or employs individuals with special needs
- An “exclusive item” (t-shirt, tote, mug, or tumbler) with a special saying or quote about disability inclusion or acceptance
- Various self-care products like motivational books and interactive journals, positive affirmation items, relaxing bath and beauty products, and edible treats
When do boxes ship?
Our sales cycle works like this: If you buy a box between May 1-31, you receive the June box. So, place your order by the last day of the month to get the next month’s box! Our boxes ship on or around the 4th of each month. If you are a quarterly subscriber, your boxes will ship on or around the 4th of every 3rd month.
If you order in the beginning or middle of the month, please know that you won’t get your box until the beginning of the next month. But no worries! You’ll have 24/7 access to our online community while you wait!
Is shipping included in the price?
We want to make sure you get as many high-quality products as we can give you, so shipping is not built in to the cost. Shipping is already discounted to a flat rate of $7 – we absorb the rest.
Please Note: We ship within the US, as well as to Canada and the UK (at a slightly higher shipping cost)!
When will I be billed?
Billing occurs immediately upon purchase for your first box, and then on the 15th of each subsequent month for the next month’s box. For example, you would be billed on July 15th for the August box (which will then be shipped around August 4th).
If you subscribed to the quarterly subscription, you will be billed on the 15th of every 3rd month. For example, if you subscribed in November, you will be billed in November, February, May, and August (and you will receive the December, March, June, and September boxes).
When will my subscription renew?
If you choose a month-to-month subscription, you will get an email around the 12th of each month reminding you that your subscription is about to renew on the 15th.
If you choose a 6-month or 12-month subscription, your subscription will renew on the 15th of the 6th or 12th month. For example: If you sign up for a 6-month subscription from June-November, you will receive an email around November 12th letting you know that your subscription is about to renew. 6-month and 12-month subscriptions renew on a month-to-month basis. So, after the initial commitment term, you can cancel at any time.
If you choose a quarterly subscription, your subscription will renew after your 4th box. For example: If you received the December, March, June, and September boxes, you will receive an email around November 12th letting you know that your subscription is about to renew. Quarterly subscriptions renew on a month-to-month basis. So, after the initial commitment term of 4 boxes (1 year), you can cancel at any time.
How do I cancel my subscription or skip a month?
Cancelling: We will be sad to see you go, but you can cancel your subscription at any time. Just log into your account, go to the subscription page, and select the option to cancel. If you have committed to a 6-month or 12-month subscription and have boxes left to receive, you will receive and be charged for the remaining boxes. Then, upon completion of your original commitment, your subscription will automatically be cancelled. Additionally, we do not offer refunds on boxes that have already shipped.
When cancelling, please remember to cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to ensure you don’t get charged.
Skipping: You can also choose to skip a month, instead of cancelling altogether, by logging into your account. Then, when you’re ready, you can easily resume shipment of your boxes any time!

Can I stay in the online community after my subscription ends?
Yes! We would love you to stay in our “Pampered Parents” private community, even if your subscription ends. Anyone who subscribes for a minimum of one month will have lifetime access to our amazing, supportive online community!
What is the "Community Membership" Subscription?
Our Community Membership Subscription offers 24/7 access to our private, online Facebook community for only $10/month (or $100/year if paid up front)! This subscription option does not include the subscription box, but it still gives members full access to our exclusive community where they will meet other special needs moms, find support, gain a sense of belonging, and have FUN!
Can I give The Pampered Parent as a gift?
Of course! In fact, we encourage it! This self-care subscription box is such a special gift to give a friend or family member. Just click “Give a Gift”, choose either the box option or gift card option, and follow the steps to check out! Easy peasy.
